> In few words who are you ?

Bea­ner is a mas­ter at losing mobile phones and staying awake for long per­iods of time without the aid of sti­mu­lants. He enjoys mas­tur­ba­tion, dif­fi­culty, over­co­ming odds, and tear-jerking finales. Toge­ther with C.L.A.W.S. he is WarVsS­leep and is one third of super­group the 3 Good Doc­tors with Aga­ric and Ed Davenport.

> Where do you come from ? Your influences …

Born in the depths of a Taji­kis­tan pri­son, to a priest and a pri­so­ner, Bea­ners life was never meant to be lived. One bot­ched abor­tion later, screams and cries were heard round the world. A star is born! Rai­sed later by wolves and the Jim Jones Peoples Temple he heard the cal­ling through howls and sha­red cult hymns. Its MUSIC time!!!  Just kid­ding, i was born and rai­sed in San Fran­cisco and moved to Ber­lin 8 years ago. I have been making music since I was a kid and have many dif­ferent influences. I was in punk and noise bands as a young per­son and used to love jump blues, rocks­teady and blue­beat and got into djing by wor­king in record stores. I lis­ten to eve­ry­thing and am influen­ced by life.

Mixed Doubles EP coming out on Thema in March, Lit­tle Hel­pers 8 song EP coming out soon after­wards. My label/cult/situationalist art ter­ror bri­gade will be put­ting out 5 records this year

> The last funny thing on a gig?

I was playing at an afte­rhour in Miami and I deci­ded to “plank” on the top of my friend Jeremy’s car. Then my friend Jonny Cruz star­ted hum­ping the front of it. We ended up den­ting the car.

> How do you feel for La Nuit party in Lyon ?

I’m super exci­ted to come to Lyon and play. Par­ties on boats are always fun and I am really loo­king for­ward to the foooooood!
